Talk about issues and try to find common ground. Check out Smart Politics for resources on how to have these conversations while maintaining your relationships. Reach a broader audience by submitting a letter to the editor or posting on social media.
Call your representatives (see Your Elected Officials)! Insist they represent all of their constituents, follow the law, and work for the common good. You also can use the 5Calls app to call your national representatives.
