WHO WE ARE
The Chadds Ford Democrats are a grassroots volunteer organization that promotes democratic values and candidates in Chadds Ford Township, Delaware County.
Our work is centered on building community and bipartisanship, and encouraging local Democrats to seek elected and appointed office in the Township.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
Civic Engagement: Encourage participation in local government, commissions, and non-profit organizations
Transparent and Ethical Governance: Encourage open and transparent municipal governing practices
Fair Representation in Municipal Government: Ensure that appointments to Township positions are open, fair, and qualified
Public Education: Support the Unionville Chadds Ford School District in their mission to educate the future citizens and leaders of Chadds Ford
Respect for Our Unique History and Landscape: Support initiatives to maintain open space and our community's historic character
Community Building and Strength: Contribute to the health and vitality of the Township by helping those in need and supporting local businesses
Climate Resilience: Help the community mitigate the local impact of adverse climate events
