Join us for an informal conversation with local small business owner, author and community activist, Elizabeth Moro. She will share how intentional community-centered experiences can help us find a path forward during these hyper-partisan times. She explores how grassroots effort can counteract the fear and isolation created by the daily news and social media. This event is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with like-minded friends and neighbors while supporting a wonderful local business!

Owner of Centreville Place: Café + Market, Elizabeth has her broker’s license and practices in Pennsylvania and Delaware. She is the author of The Civil Graces Project, which explores the self-evident truths that unite us. As co-founder of Neighbors for Crebilly, she worked with the residents of Westtown Township and surrounding communities to preserve this historic and environmental treasure.

In 2017-2018, Elizabeth ran for U.S. Congress for District 7. Upon the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania ruling to redraw the districts, the district was eliminated, and she withdrew from the race. In 2024, she ran for State Representation for PA’s 160th District. While she narrowly lost this race, she remains committed to supporting the District, building community and breaking down partisan barriers.

Graduate summa cum laude, Western Michigan University in Political Science, Public Policy, and Women’s Studies, she interned in the Michigan House of Representatives. The Moros have five children and are restoring their Chadds Ford historic farm, where they have sheep and bees. They have also preserved the land for endangered and protected species.
